Comedian Dara O Briain will MC on the night
Following the Irish Web Awards held in the Mansion House, Dublin last Saturday night, the shortlist for this year’s eircom Spider Awards has been announced. The awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, November 10th at the Convention Centre, Dublin, and will be hosted by well-known comedian and media personality Dara O’Briain.
The eircom Spider Awards are held annually and are designed to honour the online work and achievements of Irish individuals and organisations. Stephen Beynon, chairman of the judging panel commented,
“The competition in each category this year is strong and it will be interesting to see who the winners will be on the night. I would like to acknowledge everyone who submitted a nomination this year. There is some very creative and interesting work being carried out in the online space. Best of luck to everyone who has been shortlisted”.
