Stunning new photo of snow-blanketed Britain taken from space

Not to be outdone by our British counterparts in terms of beautiful satellite snow imagery, the University of Dundee’s satellite receiving station captured this image that was received from NASA’s satellite Terra on December 2nd, 2010. The image illustrates the extent of heavy snow falls experienced predominantly in the northern half of the UK.
