PlayStation Network services will resume in “a few more days”

Exactly three weeks after the initial suspension of PlayStation Network services, no exact restoration date has yet been confirmed to eager gamers. Instead, an update on the European PlayStation blog states that restoration will take “at least a few more days”.

The massive security breach was first discovered on April 20

The uncertainty of the network’s final restoration date also suggests that there may be more delays if further unseen circumstances occur. The short update in full reads,

“I know you all want to know exactly when the services will be restored. At this time, I can’t give you an exact date, as it will likely be at least a few more days. We’re terribly sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work through this process.”

Gamers, however, may have a few abating surprises in store when the network is finally brought back online.
